Over on the SafeLawns blog Paul Tukey calls this ad “ballsy” and says it was the talk of Chicago at the recent Independent Garden Center Show. I bet! I used to like Espoma well enough; now I’m their biggest fan.

About time! Right on!
Wow! Love the ad! It’s great, but we still need to reduce the amount of lawn grown, encourage people to grow diverse plantings in it’s place and use grasses that require reduced water consumption and maintenance like mechanized cutting equipment.
I shared this on my Our Little Acre page, Susan. Thank you for bringing it to my attention! I was at IGC, but hadn’t heard about this.
I shared this on facebook for my friends: love it. (Though I agree with Terri, yes, less grass altogether, but in the meantime…yay.
